Spring in Petare
Directed by Mateo ManaureIn the populous parish of Petare, three girls whose names begin with the letter "V" have parallel lives but intersected by the same reality from which they seek to get ahead by their own means. One is a violinist; the other is a motorcycle taxi driver who, as a child, lost her father in an armed robbery; the third is a young woman who, after being raped, practices prostitution. The three girls and a woman nicknamed "La Colombia" will establish a relationship with El Diablo, a criminal with a curse on his back from which she can only free herself when she finds true love.
