Both originally from the Midwest, Ryan and Shelley moved to Southern California for the great weather and laid-back beach lifestyle, and met and fell in love shortly after arriving. While they've been happy in their rental apartment near the beach in beautiful Santa Monica, Ryan is ready to invest in a condo of his own, and wants Shelley to live with him. She'll help him search for a property in the neighborhoods close to Santa Monica Beach, but even with a budget of half a million dollars, finding a condo that's in decent condition, with enough elbow room for two, will be a major challenge in one of the priciest real estate markets in America.
